Navarre Pincho Week 2017

Slated to take place from March 31th-9th April, the Semana del Pincho de Navarra is organized by the regional restaurateurs association, the Asociación de Hostelería de Navarra. This year’s edition will boast the participation of a large selection of bars and restaurants – a number that will surely exceed the 76 participants in 2015 – the majority of which are typically located in and around the capital city of Pamplona, as well as in towns throughout this northern region.
Asparagus, artichokes, piquillo peppers, beef and olive oil are just some of the excellent products from this region that are protected by Denomination of Origin status or other quality guarantees. Others include DOP Idiazabal and DOP Roncal cheeses, and Navarre’s excellent wines. It is therefore not surprising that, year after year, these products often take center stage during "Pincho Week"; transformed into the delectable and often strikingly innovative pinchos that this region is famous for.
