A major event is coming up next month and Spanish food and drink companies are getting ready: SIAL China, the biggest food innovation exhibit in Asia (and the fourth-largest in the world), will run from May 16th to the 18th, in Shanghai. A record number of visitors and exhibitors are expected this year as everyone gears up to see and learn about new and innovative products and food trends. More than 100,000 trade professionals are expected to attend, from more than 60 different countries. Several smaller events will be held as part of SIAL China, including Chocolate World, Seafood Fest, La Cuisine, SIAL Innovation, and Wine Events, among others.
Dozens of companies from Spain will participate, bringing everything from wine, extra virgin olive oil, and canned products to pork, charcuterie, and cheese. Attendees at this year’s edition will include Bodegas Marques de Teran, Caldos Extremeños, Tostaderos Sol de Alba, Conservas La Brujula, Conservas del Noroeste, Campofrio Frescos, Vichy Catalan Corporation, Aceites Ybarra, Quesos Entrepinares, Finca Duernas, Friselva, Angel Camacho Alimentacion, Cofrutos, Hutesa Agroalimentaria, Aceites Abril, Bodegas Escudero, Aceites Maeva, ElPozo Alimentacion, and Interporc Spain.
