Spanish winemakers will be descending on New York in a month’s time, eager to attend Vinexpo New York and take advantage of any business opportunities that may arise. Hosted at the Jacob J. Javits Convention Center on March 5th and 6th, this event dates back to 1981 and prides itself on “connecting industry insiders to boost sales and stimulate the market.” Other versions are held in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Bordeaux.
Spanish companies will be in attendance to leverage Vinexpo, which “offers a gateway to [this] compelling market.” This includes Anecoop Bodegas; Bodega Finca La Estacada, SL; Bodegas Los Aljibes; Bodegas Sonsierra S. Coop; Bodegas Altanza; Bodegas Ayuso; Bodegas Arraez; Bodegas Valdepablo; Bodegas San Huberto; Bodegas Panisa S. Coop; Candelaria Bodega y Viñedos; Dominio de la Vega; Central Hisumer, SL; Finca Collado; Finca San Blas; Huerta de Albala as well as IVACE, which represents wines from the Valencia region. They will put on display their spirits, and sparkling, still and fortified wines, many of them with DO certification.
