What happens when Spanish chefs come together with their international counterparts to innovate, create and, above all, cook?
The answer to this question and more will undoubtedly be addressed at the upcoming edition of Valencia Culinary Meeting, a seven-day event for which twelve chefs in Valencia will open their kitchens to as many other chefs from both Spain and abroad, bringing together a total of 21 Repsol suns and nine Michelin stars in a festive initiative that will be sure to sate the fortunate palates of those diners who are lucky enough to find themselves in the area on these dates.
Chefs from Holland, Italy, New York, Germany, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Mexico, will join visitors from Spanish locations like Santander, Guipúzcoa, Cantabria and Málaga; with well-known culinary figures like Aitor Arregui (Elkano), Jesús Sánchez (El Cenador de Amós) and Sergio Bastard (La Casona del Judío), mingling with Valencian hosts that include famed chef Ricard Camarena, among others.
Additionally, Valencia Culinary Meeting will host a series of parallel events, including informal, free talks held at the city's central Mercado Colón (market), where the participating chefs will exchange views and impressions on this unique experience.
