64 producers and importers of Spanish wines showcased their portfolios

The wine trade was out in force at the Wines from Spain Annual Tasting 2017. 950 members of the trade gathered at Tobacco Dock for a day of tasting and discovery highlighting the excitement surrounding Spain, and the new wave of wines emerging from classic as well as lesser-known regions.
64 producers and importers of Spanish wines showcased their portfolios and presented an eclectic mix of traditional and cutting-edge. Over 1,000 wines from Spain’s 69 DOs were available to taste. Features placed the accent on regional diversity and highlighted some of the key styles for the Spanish category.
Masterclasses and self-pour tastings focused on Spain’s regional diversity and explored the evolution of some of its key wine styles; while Spanish food and gastronomy took centre stage at lunchtime with Tapas Revolution serving signature dishes created by celebrated chef Omar Allibhoy
