Alimentaria 2026

The international food and beverage trade fair Alimentaria 2026 has taken place in Barcelona from March 23^rd to 26^th , bringing together key players from the global agri‑food industry. As part of the event, Foods and Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España, through the Spain Food Nation campaign, has once again organized its Hosted Buyers Program, one of the fair’s flagship internationalization initiatives.

This year’s edition welcomed around 80 international guests from more than 40 countries, selected in close collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Offices of Spain abroad. Participants include importers and distributors of Spanish food products, as well as representatives of Restaurants from Spain-certified establishments and Colmados from Spain specialty stores. All attendees come to Alimentaria with a clear objective: to explore new business opportunities and establish partnerships with Spanish companies exhibiting at the fair.

Throughout the event, the Hosted Buyers were engaged in B2B meetings, tailored networking activities, and sector‑specific programs designed to showcase the breadth and excellence of Spain’s agri‑food offer.
