RÚSTICO is a Spanish restaurant that has been operating in Lai Chi Kok for over 8 years. We focus on traditional cuisine from northern Spain, with touches of Mediterranean and southern influences. With a classic setting and presentation, we strive to offer the best Spanish products and dishes at an affordable price. With our ‘Buen camino’ promotion, we want to offer a way to discover one of the most cross-border Spanish traditions and the cuisine behind it through an alacart menu with signature dishes from towns and cities along the Camino de Santiago from the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostela.
The tapas offered are the following:
1.RONCESVALLES - Baked apple foam, ham jelly, salmon/trout tartare, trout roe.
2.BURGOS - Grilled blood sausage, plum sauce, crispy onion.
3.LA RIOJA - Codfish “a la riojana”, panadera potatoes.
4.ASTORGA - “Hojaldre” of rubia ham, goat cheese, “mar azul” tomato, rockets, caramelized onion.
5.PAMPLONA - Seared white asparagus, confit piquillo, hollandaise caviar sauce, boiled egg.
6.LEÓN - “Picadillo leonés”, fried egg, agria potato, fresh truffle, aioli
7.PONFERRADA - Crispy pork belly, chickpeas cream, “caldeirada” sauce, roast cabbage, chorizo.
8.SANTIAGO - Dessert platter: “rosquilla”, “oreja”, coffee liqueur jelly, chestnut ganache, almond sponge cake, quince paste, “tetilla” cheese, “millo” cake, chocolate sauce.
