This singular event will shine a light on gastronomy and health as scientists, academics, entrepreneurs and chefs meet to share their knowledge

Experts to Gather in Zaragoza for Gastronomía y Salud Conference

Top chefs and industry professionals will be heading to Zaragoza for the 4th edition of the Gastronomía y Salud Conference, which will be held on November 21st and 22nd at the Palacio de Congresos. This unique event aims to underline two intertwined concepts: health and gastronomy, from scientific, culinary and gastronomic standpoints. An additional goal is to position Zaragoza as the capital of health and food.

There will be a host of speakers who will talk about gastronomy and health, among them Manuel Toharia, scientist; Josep Bernabeu Mestre, professor; Sara Arranz, food and health researcher; and Esther de la Hera, agricultural engineer. There are also entrepreneurs, sommeliers, chefs and other experts included in the line-up.

Chefs and others will be offering demonstrations, such as Jesús Almagro, from Mesteño Bar; Jordi Morera, a world-renowned baker; and Marc Puig-Rey, from Fundación Alicia.

The conference will also feature an exhibition area to promote projects related and applied to gastronomy and health, as well as a section specifically for networking.
