The chef will host a special event where guests will learn everything there is to know about Ibérico acorn-fed ham

José Andrés Puts Ibérico Ham in the Spotlight in Las Vegas

Ibérico ham will be in the spotlight on December 10th at Bazaar Meat, at SLS Las Vegas. Owned by world-famous Spanish chef José Andrés,  this extraordinary product will be on everyone’s lips thanks to an interactive tasting organized together with Cinco Jotas and Fermín.

Experts from those companies will pair up with the chef to offer attendees a presentation on Ibérico ham and the story behind the life and diet of Ibérico pigs, which is key to making such a unique product.

Participants will be able to sample a range of cuts of Ibérico pig, prepared on the restaurant’s wood burning grills; get up to speed about different types of popular cured meats from Spain, such as Ibérico acorn-fed ham, lomo and salchichón; and learn the ins and outs of cleaning and carving a leg of ham by a master ham carver.

For just $110, guests will dine on a delicious menu featuring Ibérico acorn-fed ham and roast suckling pig, among other dishes, and a selection of beverages.
