The Summer Fancy Food Show kicked off yesterday in New York City. Hosted at the Javits Center, this is the largest event in the specialty food industry in all of North America and one of the leading platforms for highlighting innovation in the food industry. Companies and trade professionals will be coming out in droves to promote their products, network, and do business.
Within the Spanish pavilion, with more than 70 Spanish companies including Pastas Gallo; Conservas Alguazas; Marcos Salamanca; Conservas Dani; Aceitunas Montegil; Carmencita; Fruyper Olives; Casa de Hualdo; Jolca Olives; Iberándalus; Mieles Anta; Aceites Ybarra; Cladivm, there will be a designated area known as the Spanish Organic Corner, where 5 companies from Spain will showcase their products and industry expertise: Gourmandise, SL; Hida Alimentación, SA; Legumbres Luengo, Aceites García de la Cruz, SL; and Saffron Packers, SL.
Spanish companies at Fancy Food Show sell a wide range of products, from extra virgin olive oil and spices to honey, saffron, cold cuts, and canned products. There are also plenty of Spanish-inspired activities planned as part of the fair, such as the Spanish inspired breakfast, an extra virgin olive oil from Spain seminar, an influencer tapas lunch with a sherry wine pairing, a seafood product seminar with Estrella Galicia beer, an Ibérico seminar with ham carving, an organic foods seminar, a multi-product tasting, and a tapas lunch with sherry pairing for journalists, importers, distributors and industry professionals.
