Wally's Delicatessen
The origins of this store date back to the arrival of an Austrian family in Cardiff, Wales, in 1939. There they opened a food store specializing in Eastern Europe products. Since then, in light of the growing immigrant population in South Wales, the store has added products from other countries, such as Spain, including Manchego cheese, cured meats (ham, chorizo), black sausage, fuet (Catalonian sausage), a wide range of preserved fish and seafood, olive oil, olives, Piquillo peppers, quince jelly, polvorones (Christmas crumbly almond cookies), turrón (Spanish nougat), marzipan, wine, and many others.
