Aquafuture 2025

Foods & Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España will take 6 international buyers and key opinion leaders to the fair to hold business meetings with the Spanish companies.

The Aquafuture trade fair will be held in Vigo from May 20^th to the 22^sd. It is the largest technological, educational, informative and commercial meeting of the aquaculture sector in Southern Europe welcoming more than 210 exhibitors coming from 26 countries.

The group of foreign professionals, coming from Chile, Ghana, Mexico, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman is made up of two executive directors, one CEO, an advisor at the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, a Senior Analyst of Market Intelligence and the president of the Association of Specialists in Aquaculture Nutrition A.C. (also Research Professor at the Academic Division of Biological Sciences in Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco). The Economic and Commercial Offices of the Spanish embassies abroad have been in charge of the selection of the international professionals visiting Aquafuture.

All of them have a customized meeting agenda according to their business interests. In this way, they will be able to get first-hand knowledge of what the Spanish sector has to offer since the aquaculture sector is represented as a whole: from marine and continental aquaculture with all its variety of fish, through mollusc farming (mussel, oyster, clam...) and addressing new challenges such as algae farming.

In addition, during Aquafuture it will also be possible to enjoy diferent conferences and presentations with more than 70 professionals and a showcooking area where aquaculture products will be promoted and tasted.
