Campo de Borja is well known for its excellent Garnacha wines, the standout varietal for the region. This tasting will focus on current trends and the Historical Garnachas Project, an initiative to study and protect an important historical heritage while promoting the special wines produced from old vine Garnacha. Now in its third year, the project is a collaboration between the DO and its main bodegas (Bodegas Ainzón, Bodegas Aragonesas and Bodegas Borsao), together with the Universidad de Zaragoza (Dr. Vicente Ferreira) and Universidad Pública de Navarra (Dr. Gonzaga Santesteban).
