The EU Fab 6 - Savour the PDO and PGI Wines and Deli Meats From Europe - 2024 – 2027 Aims to improve the recognition of European quality schemes and increase the competitiveness and consumption of the protected products covered by the campaign, within the selected target countries: UK and Switzerland.

The project is presented by an aggregation of Italian, French and Spanish agri-Food sector organizations:

Spain, as the Birthplace of Garnacha variety, is represented through Asociación Garnacha Origen, which brings together the most representative Protected Designations of Origin (Terra Alta, Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja, and Priorat) and their stakeholders, including some of the leading producers of Garnacha wines in Spain.

Delve into the wonderful and exciting world of Garnacha, one of the oldest and most widely planted wine grapes in the world! Garnacha has long been recognised for the part it plays in blends. Now, a new generation of winemakers in Europe, and particularly its birthplace Aragón, are crafting innovative wines with Garnacha in the starring role. Manu Jiménez (Best Sommelier of Spain 2017) presents 6 wines highlighting Garnacha’s ability to deliver complex, structured and well-balanced wines.
