Australia, get ready to experience what Spain tastes like!

From the 4^th of September to the 4^th of October 2026, Eat Spain Drink Spain will land in Australia for the very first time, bringing the diversity, quality and versatility of Spanish food and wine to Australian consumers.

Throughout the campaign, our partner venues — including Restaurants from Spain–certified restaurants, selected hospitality venues and retail spaces — will host tailored activations, from special menus and tastings to in-store promotions, placing Spanish products at the heart of the experience.

From Spanish favourites such as jamón, extra virgin olive oil, and preserved seafood and vegetables, to everyday pantry staples, alongside wines and spirits shaped by Atlantic and Mediterranean climates, the campaign will highlight how Spanish food is cooked and enjoyed today.

Spanish gastronomy combines tradition and innovation through time, technique and heritage, and shares a natural affinity with Australia’s food culture: open, social and produce-led, where ingredients like Sherry Vinegar or Pimentón de la Vera add subtle depth and balance.

Eat Spain, Drink Spain is designed as a flexible platform that brings Spanish gastronomy to life across different settings. Whether through restaurants, bars or retail spaces, the campaign will come to life through:

Special menus featuring Spanish products and/or inspired by a specific Spanish region
Product tastings, wine pairings and sampling activities
Special pricing on selected Spanish products in retail shops
Value offers or complimentary items on selected dishes
Promotions through curated product hampers and gift packs
Product-focused masterclasses and workshops

Eat Spain Drink Spain is an initiative by Foods and Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España, organised through the Economic and Trade Commission of the Embassy of Spain in Australia, as part of the Spain Food Nation campaign.
