ISM 2026

Spain will once again play a leading role at ISM Cologne 2026, the world’s most important trade fair for sweets and snacks, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, from February 1 to 4, 2026. Organized by Koelnmesse, ISM brings together the global confectionery and snack industry, offering a unique platform for innovation, trends, and international business opportunities.

ICEX Trade and Investment will coordinate the national participation, presenting a selection of 46 Spanish companies and brands in Hall 11.1, showcasing the country’s excellence and diversity in sweet and snack products. Visitors will discover an extensive range that includes premium chocolates, artisanal candies, traditional biscuits and cookies, dried fruits, nuts, and innovative snack formats.

Building on the success of previous editions, Spain continues to be one of the top exhibitor countries at ISM. In 2025, Spanish participation positioned the country as one of th strongest exhibitor nation, with 101 companies joining the event. This growing presence reflects Spain’s strategic role in the global sweets and snacks market, known for its creativity, quality ingredients, and strong export capacity.

ISM Cologne 2026 is expected to gather more than 1,500 exhibitors from over 70 countries, once again becoming the international meeting point for producers, distributors, and buyers. Beyond product showcases, the fair will highlight the latest innovations, sustainability trends, and emerging consumer preferences shaping the future of the industry.
