Casa De Tapas is modeled on the traditional rustic Bodega style venues found in the alleyways of Madrid. The restaurant features classic Spanish dishes from Andalucía to Galicia, ideal for sharing and created by a highly qualified team of chefs who all hail from Spain. Everything from the paella to tapas, menu to music, and décor to drinks has been created uniquely to offer a little slice of España right here in Dubai.Head chef Luis Ezqueta and his team of Spanish cooks pride themselves on preparing “respectfully authentic” dishes, which have been described by customers as “especially memorable”. The menu primarily features Andalusian and Catalonian dishes, reflecting Ezqueta’s roots, but also includes other regional flavors from across Spain. The chef adds, “Tapas is a feeling. It’s not food, it’s a way to see life”.The restaurant makes customers feel very much at home, with its warm décor, Spanish tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for sunset views. According to the owners, Spanish restaurants in the city are too formal, and the goal with Casa de Tapas is to create a casual, personal atmosphere, where people feel like they’re at home.Customers will find a great selection of traditional tapas on the menu, including Spanish omelet, mushroom croquettes, prawns in chili and garlic, patatas bravas, steamed clams, Spanish cheese and charcuterie platters, Galician-style octopus and gazpacho.
