Spanish Cuisine, Tapas, Paella - Maitane, Spanish gastronomy restaurant, was born in 2017 inspired by dreams and illusions of Spanish citizens, the love embodied in every detail identifies Maitane as a restaurant with a great family atmosphere, elegant and cozy where exquisite Spanish and Mediterranean dishes are prepared with various Ecuadorian products whose flavors, colors, quality and presentations make us be creative to forge a work of art in each dish we offer. Su Chef Cristian Arroba “I am an Ecuadorian cooker, professional in two careers: Hospitality and Gastronomy, my passion for cooking began when I was a child and it is my greatest source of inspiration when creating dishes full of flavors and colors to provide unforgettable moments to my guests. In my life, as in the kitchen, I seek to turn my dreams into reality, the act of cooking represents for me an act of love and respect for others. Lover of the good things in life, that's why I like to travel, know, taste and practice other gastronomic trends, my trip to Europe and different countries in North and South America have helped me open my head and my heart to submit to the new, and the change, with all its beauty of what I can create. I live in love with my country and I want to show everyone that with our Ecuadorian products we can create the best gastronomy without looking at borders and without putting up barriers. My great teachers and mentors have been Ecuadorian and Spanish Chefs to whom I have a lot of gratitude and consideration. I am currently the Owner Chef of the Maitane Restaurant where I can express in each dish my passion, inspiration and innovative ideas to achieve the delight of our clients to their fullest extent.”
