TOPA is a basque-cretan tapas bar in Kypseli, a lively and authentic area that brings together various cultures and traditions. The name TOPA means “cheers” in Basque, and that word perfectly captures our philosophy: sharing, connecting, and enjoying food and drink around a table. The concept of TOPA is a tapas bar with a Greek heart. The menu is mainly inspired by regional Spanish cuisines, particularly the Basque Country and Catalonia. Our philosophy draws from authentic elements of both regions, such as tapas culture, vermouths, and traditional ciders, which are widely known and appreciated throughout Spain. Here you will find a respectful meeting point of two Mediterranean traditions: Just like in Crete you can sit with dakos and tsikoudia, in the Basque Country it’s jamón and txakoli. Our goal is to bring these two cultures together with honesty and care.
