The leading wine magazine in the world, Decanter, has focused its March issue on Spain with several articles and features.

This includes a selection of ratings from a panel tasting for 61 Gran Reserva wines, an overview of the very best Sherry bars in Jerez, and a close-up look at producer Dominio de Pingus.

The issue also includes an in-depth regional profile of Somontano and its wines, an article on Rioja’s single vineyard revolution by Tim Atkin MW, and an article entitled “10 Stars of the Mediterranean” by Sarah Jane Evans MW.

Additionally, there’s an article on the top ten wines in DO Cariñena, also according to Sarah Jane Evans, and a look at the best Spanish sparkling wines, from the perspective of expert Pedro Ballesteros MW. Lastly, there’s an article called “Quality on the Rise: Spain’s Top White Wines.”

Decanter is available in print and online and has a print run of approximately 40,000. It is the go-to source of wine news and information and is the oldest consumer wine publication in the UK.
