Soulmate and Tatel will be serving up delicious Spanish fare, one with a spectacular outdoor setting and the other with live music.
Two new restaurants are shaking up the California dining scene, bringing the authentic flavors of Spain, and the Mediterranean, to locals.
The first is Soulmate, on North Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood. This eagerly anticipated project, which has been several years in the making, includes a massive outdoor patio for dining plus an indoor restaurant. It’s slated to be the biggest opening of the year and the incredible menu and cocktail list is likely to attract people from all over the area. Highlights from the menu include Ibérico ham, spicy paella bites, chicken croquettes with alioli and brava sauce, escalivada salad, veggie fideuà, wood fired octopus, Basque cheesecake, and churros.
The second restaurant is Tatel, which is expected to open its doors in Beverly Hills this summer. A celebrity-backed project from pro athletes Pau Gasol, Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafa Nadal, it already has successful outposts in Ibiza and Madrid thanks to its spectacular Spanish food with modern touches. Although the menu has yet to be revealed, if it’s anything like the other Tatel restaurants, California diners can expect to be tucking into dishes like Ibérico ham croquettes, grilled Ibérico pork, fish in clam vinaigrette, and saffron risotto with grated truffle. The live music almost every night can also be expected to draw a crowd.
