Spain FoodTech Roundtable at Food 4 Future

With about 400 startups currently in the foodtech sector, Spain aims to keep investing and keep growing in this industry to become a major league player.

The Spain Foodtech program is a clear example of the potential of this sector with startups working in different areas of the food value chain, providing value through the application of technology to the traditional food system. Internationalization, investment and technology are fundamental in their global development. This is why ICEX partnered up with Eatable Adventures, the creators of the program, to provide full support. The program also counts on the support from CNTA.

Spain Foodtech will be present at the global event Food 4 Future happening in Bilbao from June 15-17 at a dedicated roundtable on June 16 from 1-2 PM. The aim is to learn more about the program and highlight the finalist startups that are able to attend the in-person event.Maria Naranjo, Director for Food, Wine & Gastronomy at ICEX will be introducing the roundtable. Also present are Estefanía Erro, Marketing & Innovation Director at CNTA and Mila Valcárcel, Managing Partner at Eatable Adventures.

Four of the startups’ representatives that were selected as finalists at Spain FoodTech that will attend the event are:
