New Pop-Up in Bahrain Brings Authentic Spanish Flavors to Guests

Chef Miguel Martínez is responsible for this unique culinary experience and his menu includes classic dishes and traditional recipes with a twist in Vivir restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.

There's a new and exciting pop-up that has opened its doors, from March 7th to April 10th. It's called Vivir and it's located at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.

Chef Miguel Martínez is manning the stoves for this culinary project. Martínez is one of the chefs at the hotel's partner, The Ritz-Cartlon, Abama, in Tenerife, where he currently cooks at one of the latter hotel's Michelin star restaurants, MB, and is more than qualified, having trained under none other than Martin Berasategui. He has also worked in high-end restaurants such as DSTAgE, El Club Allard and Tragabuches.

The menu at Vivir aims to reflect Spain's culinary heritage and includes everything from Valencia-style paella, croquettes, and bechamel oxtail stew to fried squid in tempura with citrus alioli and Andalusian-style squid. Guests can accompany their food with beverages like sangria and tinto de verano.

Said the general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, in fccib.net: “In our perpetual pursuit to provide memorable experiences to our valued guests and members, I am proud to announce that, in collaboration with our sister property in Spain, and under the guidance of renowned Michelin-starred Chef Martin Berasategui, we are launching yet another unique concept at our beachside venue, Nikmati, making Vivir the fourth among a series of successful culinary events since we opened our first pop-up in 2020, in which the main objective is to keep providing our guests the opportunity to experience different cultures and tastes through a gastronomic journey without ever leaving the island in this unprecedented time.”
