A showcase of the best Spanish ingredients took place at the Seattle Culinary Academy: an oppotunity to taste some of the best flavours.
The Seattle Culinary Academy (SCA) once again celebrated Spain´s Day with the collaboration of Foods from Spain.
This yearly showcase featuring some of the best ingredients Spain has to offer included presentations and tastings of extra virgin olive oils, cheeses, sherry vinegar many other delectable products. Students learnt about the products, how to recognize their quality and how to incorporate them in recipes. A buffet lunch of Spanish tapas was served to students and faculty.
Some of the participating companies and Dos were L’Estornell olive oil and Goya Organics olive oil Murcia al vino and Mahon-Menorca DO cheeses.
Spain´s Day has been a fantastic opportunity for students and professional to learn about Spanish ingredients, cuisine, and culture!
