OAD (Opinionated About Dining) originally started out as a blog run by entrepreneur and journalist Steve Plotnicki back in 2007. He started by publishing a list distinguishing the best restaurants in Europe each year. Eventually, a platform was created that allowed registered votes to share their opinion and shape the final list. OAD is unique in that it’s the only survey of its kind that includes experience as part of its rating system.
