Within this context, Foods and Wines from Spain, through the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Hong Kong, and Alimentos de España, offer visitors a Spanish gastronomic area, where a full program of tastings and seminars on Spanish food and beverages will be organized to provide attendees with an authentic Spanish culinary experience.

Spanish Red Wines & Tapas

Originally from Seville and with over 18 years of experience in the F&B and hospitality industry, Alex Dominguez is the co-founder and Executive Chef of Latin Food Group. He will be delighting us on Thursday (October 24th) and showing us how to prepare traditional Spanish Tapas, together with sommelier Corinne Mui from Corvino Asia Wine Academy, to prepare an excellent array of traditional Spanish Tapas combined with Spanish White Wines.

Spanish White Wines & Tapas

On Saturday, we will be joined by Alex Fargas, chef at La Paloma Spanish Restaurant with over 15 years of experience as a chef, restaurateur, and F&B consultant. He has worked for establishments like Fofo el Willy in Hong Kong and in Shanghai. And now he will bring all his expertise to us together with sommelier Jennie Mack from AWSEC Wine Academy, our sommelier for the day, we will learn about Spanish White Wines and the best way to combine it in your next social gathering.

 

EXHIBITORS

Los Ibéricos

Los Ibéricos will offer a taste of Spain with a selection of traditional dishes. Guests can enjoy the rich flavours of 100% Ibérico acorn-fed Bellota Ham, matured Manchego cheese, and a variety of Spanish potato omelettes, including a truffle option. The menu also features marinated anchovies in olive oil and mini chorizo and mini fuet tapas, alongside breadsticks or crisps. To complement these dishes, Los Ibéricos will serve a curated selection of Spanish wines, including the vibrant Torello Blanc Tranquille and the elegant Torello Brut Reserva.

Anecoop

Anecoop will be bringing an excellent and diverse wine offer. Their carefully curated list includes the robust Valle Secreto Private Edition Cabernet Sauvignon, the refined Origen Cabernet Franc, and Valle Secreto First Edition Late Harvest, among others. Overall, a thoughtful selection that will provide a memorable experience for wine lovers and will delight the most demanding palate.

Eat Good Spain

Eat Good Spain brings the essence of Spanish cuisine to the Hong Kong Dine and Wine Festival, where you will savour their signature Paella, Galician Style Octopus, and the creamy Pistachio Catalan Cream. Enjoy the rich flavours of their Spanish Smoked Cured Beef and Cheese and Ham Platter. Pair these with refreshing Sangría, Tinto de Verano, or the sweet La Vina Moscato. Each dish and drink capture the true taste of Spain.

Pata Negra House

Pata Negra House is the perfect place to indulge in an exquisite Seafood Paella and savour the premium 100% Ibérico acorn-fed Bellota Ham, hand-sliced on-site and cured for 40-60 months. Also, enjoy the rich flavours of their Organic Ibérico Ham, made from organically fed pigs and cured for 26 months. For a perfect snack, try the Ham and Cheese Toast, with melted cheese and savoury ham. Experience a taste of Spain with the Mix Spanish Cheese platter, featuring their signature truffle Manchego.

Bien Jamón

Bien Jamon offers a gourmet journey through Spain’s finest cured meats and cheeses. Here, you will experience the exceptional flavour of an 85 month-aged Hand-Sliced Iberian Ham, and a 46 month-aged Iberian Cured Shoulder, complemented by Manchego Cheese. Discover the unique taste of Mature Atlantic Cheese, aged for over 18 months using traditional Galician techniques, and the delightful Sheep Cheese with Pedro Ximénez, marbled with the sweetness of this rare Sherry wine. For a classic treat, try their Reserva Ham. Each offering at Bien Jamon embodies the artistry and tradition of Spanish charcuterie.

Diverxu

Diverxu will introduce an array of Spanish delights, including their debut dish: Duck Breast Stuffed with Foie Gras, a luxurious tapa that pairs tender duck with creamy foie gras for a rich, melt-in-the-mouth experience. Guests can also savour the deeply flavoured 58-month cured Ibérico Ham Acorn-fed, alongside a cold cut platter of 36-month Ibérico Ham, cheese, and spicy chorizo. The menu is rounded out with crispy croquettes, classic churros dusted with cinnamon sugar, and juicy, pan-fried cured beef tongue, each dish perfectly designed to pair with fine wine.

Wine & Spirits Global

Wine & Spirits will showcase an exceptional selection of wines. Guests can savour the Valveran 20 Manzanas, known for its aged gold colour and complex, aromatic profile with notes of dried fruit and citrus. The Casar De Burbia Hombros Mencia offers a delightful balance of blackberries, blueberries, and subtle summer flowers, with a long, harmonious finish. For those who appreciate organic wines, the Teo Blanco Maceración delivers a medium-bodied, aromatic experience with hints of minerality and spice. The Tebaida 2016 brings the classicism of Mencia with bold flavours of black cherries, blueberries, and a juicy, full-bodied palate. Finally, the Casar De Burbia Godello Barrica invites with tropical fruit aromas and a refreshing acidity, perfect for those looking for a vibrant and lively wine experience.

Jon’s Jamon

At Jon’s Jamon, guests can enjoy the tender Galician Style Octopus and the rich flavours of Galician Mussels, both showcasing the essence of Spain’s coastal cuisine. The creamy Spanish Potato Salad adds a comforting touch, while the Acorn-Fed Iberian Ham offers a taste of Spain's finest cured meat. The highlight of the menu is the Ham, Fuet & Cheese Platter, a carefully curated selection of premium Spanish charcuterie and cheese, perfect for pairing with fine wines.

Latin Food

Latin Food will bring to Hong Kong the Spanish Tapas tradition with their selection of authentic Pintxos. Guests can savour the Pintxo with Catalan-style Roasted Vegetables and Pickled Anchovies or the Pintxo with Roasted Mushrooms and Spanish Serrano Ham. The highlight of their menu is the Pintxo with Spanish Chistorra Sausage and Peppers, featuring a perfect balance of spicy chistorra and sweet, charred peppers. Additionally, the Madrid-style Slow Cooked Beef Tripe offers a comforting taste of Madrid, while the Pickled Anchovies, Pitted Olives, and Peppers "Gilda" Pintxo provides a tangy and smoky experience.

Ideal Living Trading

Ideal Living Trading showcases their Pulpoloco Spanish Red and White Wine Sangrias, perfect for parties with their sweet, tropical aromas and low 7% ABV. Additionally, they offer Covides Cava Montse Rosé Brut, with its floral notes, and DUC De Foix Ice Cava Semi Seco, known for its sweet finish and versatility with ice and fresh fruit.

South Stream Market

At South Stream Market booth, you can indulge in Spanish Ibérico Char Siu, a highlight dish made from the "Wagyu of pork." This Iberian char siu is marinated and slow-cooked to perfection, offering a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Mas Masana Jamón Ibérico is another must-try, with its exquisite marbling and rich flavours that pair perfectly with wine. Also featured are Ibérico Pork Meat Balls, showcasing the pure, unadulterated taste of Iberian pork, and Spanish Yellow Chicken Drumsticks, known for their firm texture and enhanced flavour.
