El Vaso de Oro HK is a Spanish wine cellar in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, opened in 2022 by Catalan chef Carlos Salvador Asensio. Its cuisine pays homage to Spanish gastronomic tradition with tapas, classic dishes and a carefully selected range of wines, vermouths and fortified wines. Inspired by the bodegas of the 1970s, the restaurant offers an authentic, welcoming atmosphere that is open to both local and international guests.
To celebrate "Eat Spain Drink Spain" , El Vaso de Oro HK will be offering a special selection of traditional Spanish tapas from 1 to 15 October. This initiative aims to pay tribute to the diversity of our cuisine, with recipes representing different regions of the country.
1. Cod Kokotxas “Club Ranero” Style
Cod throats confit in olive oil with garlic, parsley, chili and a light pil-pil sauce enriched with choricero pepper. A Basque classic born in the Club Ranero of Bilbao.
