11 am Mediterranean Pride - Native and rediscovered grapes from Levante
Almudena Alberca, MW, will present a selection of top spanish red and white wines from all over the Mediterranean coast made from native and rediscovered varieties of the Levante area such as Monastrell, Bobal, Garnacha or Merseguera.
1 pm White Wines from Green Spain
Andreas Kubach, MW, will present a selection of quality white wines from the so-called Green Spain including top white wines from the Galician denominations of origins Rías Baixas, Monterrei, Ribeiro and Ribeira Sacra as well as crispy Txakolí from the famous basque apellation DO Txakolina Bizkaiko.
3 pm Decoding Rioja´s Diversity
Understand Rioja’s wine styles, labeling terms, grape varieties and terroir nuances through a selection of high-quality wines showcasing the rich diversity of Rioja, led by Peter Arijs, Educational Manager of Rioja DOCa. Seminar in English.
5 pm: Unique Garnachas - a regional comparison
Fernando Mora, MW, introduces one of Spain's most popular and exciting grape varieties, Garnacha. This tasting compares Garnacha-based wines from 9 different Spanish wine regions. Each of them represents its individual terroir in a unique way.

11 am Parcel Wines from Bodegas Frontonio
A walk through the terroirs of the Sierras del Jalón discovering the secret of the fresh Garnachas from old mountain vineyards of Bodegas Frontonio.

1 pm Next Generation Rioja: Village and Parcel Wines from Bodega Bideona
Spain’s leading quality region is witnessing a true revolution and producers are exploring and expressing Rioja‘s incredibly diverse terroirs. Andreas Kubach MW is contributing to this new generation of terroir-driven wines with Bideona, a purpose-built winery that produces single-vineyard and village wines from close to 300 historic vineyard parcels in Rioja Alavesa. Andreas will illustrate what makes the terroir of the Sonsierra so unique and offer a tasting that includes a comparison of three village wines from the excellent 2020 vintage, as well as an exclusive preview of Cofrades Bideona 2021, their very first single-vineyard wine.
3 pm Exploring northeast terroirs with Entrecanales Domecq e Hijos
A unique journey through Spain’s best-known wine regions and grapes, from the Galician Atlantic freshness to the Duero and Ebro river valleys fascinating richness. By the hand of Almudena Alberca MW and Entrecanales Domecq exceptional wines, that reflect the typical character of their territory. Speaker: Almudena Alberca, MW
5 pm Historic Garnacha Project
David Schwarzwälder, one of the most recognized experts in Spanish wines in the world, presents the rich heritage of old Garnacha Wines and vinyards in the Denomination of Origin DO Campo de Borja in northeast Spain. Seminar in english.
