The eighth edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2025 will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from November 5th to November 10th.
Organized by Foods and Wines from Spain (FWS), through the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Shanghai, and Alimentos de España, the country will present an Agri-Food Pavilion within the Food & Beverage Hall 8.2H. Far beyond a conventional exhibition space, the pavilion will be transformed into a vibrant gastronomic showcase. Renowned chefs from Certified Spanish Restaurants operating in China will craft culinary creations using products from participating exhibitors, offering visitors an immersive taste of Spain’s rich culinary heritage. Visitors can expect to experience iconic Spanish products such as premium wine and beer, extra virgin olive oil, meat products, Iberian ham, cheese, acuatic products and a variety of pork specialties such as cured meats—all celebrated for their quality, authenticity, and cultural significance. There will also be a Iberico Ham cutting show as well as tapas and wine tastings presented by the diverse entreprises and interprofessional companies.

The CIIE is the world's first national-level expo with import as its theme, representing a major initiative by the Chinese government to open its market and promote economic globalization. Since its inception in 2018, the CIIE has served as a platform for international procurement, investment promotion, and open cooperation. It has attracted participation from over 180 countries, regions, and international organizations, playing a key role in developing a more open world economy by providing access to the Chinese market.
