Food and Hotel Asia has established itself as the largest trade fair for food and beverages in Southeast Asia and the most important international trade fair with over 55.000 visitors from 100 countries, and more than 1.500 exhibitors.

After more than 4 years since the last edition due to the pandemic, it reopens its doors to return on an annual basis at the Singapore EXPO, the largest fairground in the city, alongside the ProWine Singapore fair.

FHA-Food & Beverage offers an exemplary experience underlined by the most wide-ranging food & drink products and innovations that are top and trending in Asia and across the globe. More than 70% of exhibitors are made up of direct manufacturers and as many as 15% are expected to use this platform as a launch pad for new-to-market innovations.

The fair provides global suppliers with valuable access to quality buyers including distributors, importers, manufacturers and retailers, and attendees will also gain valuable insights into developments and future trends of the food & beverage industry. To further complement the exhibition, expect dedicated zones, competitions, masterclasses and more.

The ICEX, Spain Trade and Investment Official Pavilion at FHA has established itself as an important meeting point for international visitors aiming to promote the image of Spanish food and beverages, as well as highlighting the quality and diversity of the Spanish cuisine and origins, the commitment to sustainability and the innovative strength of the industry. This year with 17 exhibitors in Hall 5H, with a wide range of products including meat and sausages, cheese, olive oil, chocolates biscuits, cookies, and pastry ingredients.

Spain is among the top ten countries with the largest number of exhibitors at the fair with a total of 17 companies. Singapore is the country with more exhibitors (205), followed by Malaysia (83), Turkey (62), France (50), United States (45), Thailand (40), Italy (49), Taiwan (24), Australia (19), Spain (17), South Korea (14), Denmark (13), Netherlands (12) and many more.

In 2021, the Spanish food and beverage industry constitutes an important sector for Singaporean companies, with Spain being the fifth largest exporter in the EU with 4.9% of exports totaling €91M, having increased its revenues by 24.3% since 2017. The food industry subsectors with the highest export share are meat and pork products (21.9%), frozen fish (14.3%), olive oil (8.7%) and wine (7.1%). Other prominent exporting countries are France (€230M) and Portugal (€189M), followed by the United States (€140M).
