SPANISH RED WINE TASTING IN GUATEMALA 2024

The Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Guatemala is organizing a wine tasting event that will take place on October 25th. The event will be held at Camille Alta Cocina Restaurant, where some of the most relevant chefs, wine journalists and opinion leaders from Guatemala will have the chance to taste a selected sample of eight red wines from D.O. Costers del Segre, Ribera del Duero and Rioja served with different Spanish tapas.

In the last few years, the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Guatemala has organized more than 10 wine tasting activities, which have contributed to the introduction and promotion of the Spanish wines in Guatemala. This has helped to make Spain, together with Chile, the main country of origin of the wines imported by Guatemala.

The aim of this year's activity is to strengthen the Spanish cellar participants position and to help them reach new clients in the country, as well as to allow the attendants to discover the excellence and quality of the Spanish wines.

As part of the safety measures of the event, the number of participants has been limited and the attendance will be exclusively through invitation.
