ICEX Spain Exports and Investments, in cooperation with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Bucharest (covering the Romanian and Moldavian markets), is organizing a wine tasting of Spanish Tempranillo wines. The event will feature four different Spanish wineries, presenting wines that may interest Romanian consumers.

This event aims to enhance the understanding of the variety and quality of Spanish wines, which are still relatively unknown in Romania, particularly within the HoReCa sector. Through the wines presented, we hope to showcase the potential of the Spanish wine sector and the opportunities Spanish wines can offer to the Romanian market.

The tasting will take place on October 11th, 2024, as part of the Ro-Wine Festival and will be guided by the professional sommelier and writer Mr. Sergiu Nedelea.

Participation in the tasting is by prior registration only.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sergiu Nedelea is not only one of the most renowned Romanian sommeliers but also a prolific author and a well-respected trainer. Dozens of published articles and the release of the books "The Sommelier's Notebook – Guide for Aspirants and Professionals" and "Tavern Stories," as well as the "Map of Romanian Wines," are the most compelling evidence of this. The countless generations of new sommeliers who have graduated and continue to graduate from his courses demonstrate Sergiu Nedelea's abilities as a trainer.
