Huevos de Oro was born in São Paulo in 2019 with the vision of celebrating Spanish gastronomic culture through a contemporary, welcoming tavern deeply connected to the products, recipes, and traditions of Spain. Since its opening, its goal has been to offer an authentic experience where the cuisine, wine, and hospitality reflect the spirit of the Spanish tapas bars ("barras") that its founders so greatly admire.
Located in the Pinheiros neighborhood, one of Brazil's most important gastronomic hubs, Huevos de Oro has evolved over the years from a specialized tapas house into a true gastronomic bar. Today, it combines the relaxed atmosphere of a tavern with the level of execution, service, and culinary curation of a restaurant. Its internal motto perfectly captures this vision: being “a bit of a bar, a bit of a restaurant.”
The kitchen is currently led by chefs and partners Tatiane Bertone and Larissa Desiderio, graduates of Le Cordon Bleu São Paulo, who have revamped the menu while preserving the house’s timeless classics and expanding the representation of diverse Spanish culinary traditions.
The menu brings together iconic dishes such as tortilla de patatas, pan tumaca, huevos rotos, Asturian cachopo, seafood paella, oxtail (rabo de toro), and the award-winning Bomba de la Barceloneta, alongside new creations inspired by different regions of Spain. The Spanish influence is also present in the beverage selection. The wine list is predominantly comprised of Spanish labels, and the establishment dedicates special attention to Sherry (Jerez), vermouths, and cocktails incorporating these products, helping to promote Spanish wine culture among the Brazilian public. The restaurant's main goal is to establish itself as one of the benchmarks for Spanish gastronomy in Brazil, fostering knowledge of Spain's culinary diversity beyond its internationally renowned dishes, seeking to serve as a cultural bridge between Spain and Brazil through gastronomy.
