Trends in wine and a press trip to to the Balearic Islands

Wine will be on everyone's lips too, thanks to Madrid Fusion: The Wine Edition, now in its second year and sponsored by Wines From Spain. This portion of the events aims to connect wine with gastronomy by bringing together chefs with producers and sommeliers.

As always, ICEX will be working with Madrid Fusión by inviting a group of 15 international journalists, from Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, the US and Germany, to the conference. Once it’s over, they will travel to the Balearic Islands to visit local producers of olive oil, wine, and cheese and Ibérico products, such as sobrasada and Mahón cheese, with a view to writing about them and raising their profile in the media when they return home.
