Second La Jamoteca Outpost Opens in Coral Gables, Florida

This gourmet shop and café specializes in 100% acorn-fed Ibérico ham, selling the largest selection of hams—more than 70—in all of the US

Florida residents with a penchant for Spanish flavors are in luck. A new gourmet shop and café, called La Jamoteca, has officially opened its doors in Coral Gables, southwest of downtown Miami, in Florida.
This unique store sells the largest variety of cured Spanish hams in the US, more than 70 in total.

According to Raul Martin, originally from Salamanca and the owner of La Jamoteca, he has around 50 pata negra hams on offer.
It also sells a large selection of Spanish foods including cheese, olive oil, vinegar, caviar, truffles, sausages, and even frozen roast suckling pig. And customers can enjoy a nice variety of wines from Ribera del DueroRioja and beyond.
As ham is one of the main attractions, there's a special area for carving where experts hand carve plates of 100% Ibérico acorn-fed ham for customers to purchase or eat in-situ.

Customers who dine there can also enjoy a wide range of sandwiches, a selection of tapas, and charcuterie, ham and cheese platters.
This is the second La Jamoteca outpost in Miami. It was originally founded in 2018 with just a website, and eventually opened a small gourmet shop inside a mall south of Miami.
