FIGAN, an International Reference for the Livestock Sector

FIGAN 2023 has received 54,736 professional visitors, generating great expectations for national and international business

FIGAN has maintained initial expectations, managing to attract a large number of professional audiences who have highlighted the excellent environment of technology, knowledge and business quality. From March 28 to 31, FIGAN has been the epicentre of the primary sector in Europe, strengthening its position as a benchmark international event for the agricultural market. The event has had 987 exhibiting brands, from 26 countries around the world, occupying 6 pavilions and more than 77,000m2 of exhibition space.

Four days in which visibility has been given to the important advances towards intelligent livestock, the latest technological equipment, livestock facilities, animal welfare or the presentation of digital advances in the sector, among others. In addition, among the strong points of the exhibition, the representation of 17 select livestock breeds of bovine and equine species, the track located in Hall 7 to show the morphological benefits of the animals or the space "TODOS EN FIGAN", which It has had numerous activities organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Select Livestock Associations, RFEAGAS.

In addition, the prescribers also had a chat with the head of the agri-food area of ​​Feria de Zaragoza and the opportunity to greet the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, during his visit to the RFEAGAS stand.

Once the trade fair concluded, Rfeagas and ICEX embarked on a tour, with a first visit to GANADOS HERVAL, a feedlot for 500  heads of cattle of the Asturiana de los Valles breed in Zaragoza. On March 31st the group travelled to Avila and Madrid for the next visits. They were in CAPRITIETAR, Murciano-Granadina breed goats, with space for 1,100 goats, a 32-seat milking parlor and two cooling tanks, and in YEGUADA FLOR DE LIS, with 17 purebred Arabian horses, that offered a show jumping.
