50 International Buyers to Attend Fruit Attraction and Visit Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Murcia

Fruit Attraction, a global fair for fresh products, is expected to attract more than 90,000 people from over 135 countries

Fruit Attraction 2023, which will be held in Madrid from October 3rd to the 5th, will once again take the spotlight as a global hub for fresh produce. Innovation, quality, and diversity are essential factors on which international retailers and producers focus.

This year’s edition will be the fair’s 15th anniversary, and it’s expected to bring together over 90,000 attendees from more than 135 countries, all looking to learn about latest trends in the fruit and vegetable industry.

There will also be 50 international procurement managers at the fair, coming from over 20 different countries. Following the fair and their B2B meetings there, they will take part in discovery trips to several Spanish regions.

Trips to Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Murcia

ICEX and ANDALUCIA TRADE will organize a trip to west Andalusia, which starts in Córdoba and ends in Seville. Seven international buyers from Asia, Africa, and America will take part and learn about the production of citrus fruits and berries.

There is also a second trip to Andalusia, organized as well by ICEX and ANDALUCIA TRADE. It will start in Granada and end in Almería. Six international buyers from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East will learn about the production of tropical fruits and vegetables.

Castile-La Mancha will be another destination for some of these buyers. ICEX and IPEX organize to this region of Spain. Four international buyers from the US and Brazil will take part to learn about Spanish garlic, onions, watermelons, and other vegetables.

Eight international buyers from Asia, America, and Europe will take part in a trip to Murcia organized by ICEX and INFO MURCIA. It will be a get first-hand experience with citrus fruits, grapes and vegetables that thrive in greenhouses.
