Secreto, Düsseldorf.
From Sydney to Seoul and London to Mexico City, Spanish food and wine will take center stage at restaurants, wine shops, gourmet stores, culinary venues, and specialty retailers across 19 international markets. Eat Spain Drink Spain returns this fall with its biggest edition yet, showcasing Spanish cuisine through its products, professionals, and the establishments that represent it around the world.
A dinner with wine-pairings in London. A wine tasting in Singapore. A menu created especially for the occasion in Tokyo. A sampling event at a gourmet store in Mexico. Or perhaps a tapas crawl thousands of miles from Spain. This September, there will be many ways to connect with Spanish cuisine without having to travel there.
Eat Spain Drink Spain (ESDS) returns in 2026, bringing Spanish cuisine to Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and North America. From September 1 to October 6, depending on the market, restaurants, wine shops, hotels, gourmet stores, and other culinary venues will offer experiences designed to let you discover Spain through its flavors.
Over those weeks, ESDS will roll out across 19 international markets with tastings, sampling events, live cooking demonstrations, special menus, pairings, culinary tours, themed dinners, and point-of-sale promotions. An opportunity to discover products, but also to experience firsthand the vast diversity of the Spanish pantry and the many ways it can be interpreted far from where its products originate.
And that’s a big part of its appeal: every establishment can tell Spain’s story in a different way. A wine can transport you to an Atlantic, Mediterranean, or continental landscape. A cheese can reveal a tradition of livestock farming. An extra virgin olive oil can tell the story of a variety and a region. A ham, a preserved food, or a chef-created dish can become the beginning of a much broader story.

Because above all, Eat Spain Drink Spain is an invitation to taste Spain, share it, and discover it. And on this journey, restaurants and retailers take center stage. Alongside international establishments that will feature Spanish products on their menus during the campaign, restaurants bearing the Restaurants from Spain (RFS) seal feature prominently in Eat Spain Drink Spain. This network recognizes establishments that represent Spanish cuisine abroad while upholding high standards of authenticity and quality. Also taking part are retailers certified with the Colmados from Spain (CFS) seal, specialty stores that bring international consumers a carefully curated selection from the Spanish pantry. Both certification labels offer the public and industry professionals reliable points of reference for discovering Spanish cuisine, with assurances of authenticity, product knowledge, and specialization.
19 destinations, 19 ways to savor
Spain Spanish cuisine finds new ways to express itself when it travels. Not because it loses its identity, but because it comes into contact with new cities, new chefs, and culinary cultures. That capacity for dialogue lies at the very heart of Eat Spain Drink Spain: connecting with very different audiences and culinary cultures, without losing what defines it: origin, quality, sustainability, diversity, and authenticity.
After being held in 16 markets in 2025, the 2026 edition will include Australia, South Korea, and Poland for the first time, further expanding the initiative’s international reach. Each of these markets offers its own way to experience Spain, with restaurants, shops, tastings, menus, sampling events, and experiences that vary by destination.
Singapore will kick things off, and from there, ESDS will roll out through October 6. Singapore will be followed by Australia and Puerto Rico; South Korea; Hong Kong; the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, and Thailand; Germany and China; the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland, and Malaysia; Japan; and, finally, Mexico.
Each market offers its own unique way to experience Eat Spain Drink Spain. Explore each destination to discover participating establishments, culinary experiences, tastings, menus, and scheduled activities.
