Eat Spain Drink Spain returns to Ireland | 11th to 27th September 2026

Eat Spain Drink Spain returns to Ireland this October, inviting everyone to discover and celebrate the diversity and quality of Spanish food and beverages. From 11th to 27th September 2026, Spanish gastronomy will take centre stage through a dynamic programme of tastings, promotions and culinary experiences across the country.

Organised by Food and Wines from Spain, through the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Dublin as part of the Spain Food Nation campaign, the initiative will bring Spanish flavours to life in collaboration with leading Irish retailers, wine bars and restaurants.

For two weeks, participating venues will showcase both iconic Spanish products and contemporary expressions of Spanish cuisine, offering consumers the opportunity to explore regional specialties, innovative pairings and timeless classics.

What to expect

Tastings events: The program will feature tastings and culinary events hosted both at restaurants and at the venues of leading importers and distributors in Ireland.

In-store promotions and special offers: Participating shops will offer exclusive discounts and promotions on a wide and carefully curated selection of Spanish products. Shoppers will have the opportunity to bring home the very best of Spain’s pantry

Expert-led workshops: Hands-on sessions led by Spanish food and wine experts, offering practical insights into Spanish products, regions and pairing traditions, and providing a deeper understanding of what makes Spanish gastronomy so distinctive.

Interactive activities and competitions: Engaging quizzes, tastings and prize draws designed to encourage discovery and participation, giving attendees the chance to test their knowledge, win Spanish products and experience Spanish food culture in a fun and approachable way.

How to Participate:

Importers are strongly encouraged to get involved by hosting their own promotions and events with the Spanish producers they represent. These initiatives will be supported through an extensive communication campaign across the media and social platforms.

Retailers, bars, and restaurants can join the nationwide campaign by offering tastings, special menus, and exclusive deals that showcase the best of Spain throughout October.

Spanish producers are invited to join the campaign by supporting their Irish importers and distributors in the activities they organise, for example by providing product samples or promotional support.
