Korea International Beer Expo - KIBEX

The 3rd edition of the Korea International Beer EXPO 2021 (KIBEX): Spanish Food and Wine Showroom organized by Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Spain an ICEX Spain Trade and Investment will be held in Seoul on the 17-19 of May of 2021

The Korea International Beer EXPO 2021 have been successful bringing key actors of the beer sector in Korea. The main goal of these events is to achieve the promotion of high-quality products from Spain, to increase the awareness of Spanish products in Korea and to facilitate the relations between companies and distributors, thus providing business opportunities for them.

Seoul, with 10 million inhabitants, is the capital city of Korea and the financial hub of South Korea. The Economist Intelligence Unit ranked Seoul 15th in the list of “Overall 2025 City Competitiveness” regarding future competitiveness of cities. Seoul province is in full development, its GDP is similar to Australian’s and it is demanding more and more foreign products due to the free trade agreement signed between Korea and the European Union in 2011.

The previous edition of the KIBEX got together more than 120 professionals (importers, distributors, foodservice professionals, sommeliers and media specialists) and more than 7000 final consumers.

Spanish Beer Exports to China Exhibit Spectacular Growth

The Economic & Commercial Office of Spain and ICEX, as the official trade promotion body of the Spanish Government in Korea, have more than 20 years’ experience organizing promotional events in this country, developing relations between Spanish companies and Korean importers and distributors, as well as promoting the image of quality and excellence of Foods and Wines from Spain.

To ensure everyone’s safety, the Korea International Beer EXPO 2021 will take place strictly following the COVID19 prevention and control measures implemented by the Korean authorities. If necessary, temperature controls will be carried out and the individual healthy code will be requested to enter the venue. Prevention materials such as masks, and disinfectant may be supplied.
