Open Day Vietnam 2023

Our Open Day will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, the economic center of the country, at the prestigious Caravelle Saigon Hotel, in the heart of the city.

Coordinating and bringing together the regular importers of high quality Spanish food & wine, will bring a long missed spotlight to the quality and variety of the Spanish Pantry already available in Vietnam.

The core of the event will focus in underlining the quality of Spanish products in the market so it will be restricted to gourmet & delicatessen items, top quality and high value articles, products with a denomination of origin, with an ecological certificate, etc.

The event will create a Single Point opportunity for existing and new corporate customers of the exhibitors to examine and complement their catalogues and pantry with Spanish products. The invitation-only guests will be managers, F&B Directors and head chefs of top Hotels and Restaurants, Corporate Gift buyers from the Spanish and Partners of Spanish Companies, as well as Media specialists and Social Influencers.

Food and beverages from Spain have experimented a remarkable rise in the Vietnamese market, with a 28% increase in 2022, led by pork and pork products, olive oil, wine, dairy and ready to eat products.

Vietnam is set to record fast-paced economic growth which will lead to 145% real terms growth in per capita disposable income by 2040. Sizeable foreign investment, rising productivity and manufactured exports will assist in the country’s economic performance over the medium term. The country is attracting new investment which is set to continue driving the country’s economy as well as secure high employment rates. Income per capita income levels will increase at a faster pace compared to the Asia Pacific average. Per capita gross income in Vietnam is projected to increase through all age groups. Middle Youth who grew up largely influenced by Western culture and environmental conscience, are shaping the rest of the consumers by the country’s digital connectivity and social media dependency.
