Open Day Wuhan 2023
The 11th edition of the Open Days: Spanish Food and Wine Showroom organized by Foods and Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España, through the the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Beijing, and Alimentos de España will be held in Wuhan on the 19thOctober 2023.

The Open Days have been successful bringing key actors of the agrifood and beverage sectors together in China. The main goal of these events is to achieve the promotion of high-quality products from Spain, to increase the awareness of Spanish products in Hubei province and to facilitate the relations between companies and distributors, thus providing business opportunities for them.
With over 12 million inhabitants and 20.000 Euros in per capita income, Wuhan is one of China’s principal centers of precision manufacturing and technological innovation. Scoring high in foreign direct-investment, Wuhan’s economy majors in optics, semiconductor, biomedical sciences and the green economy sectors. An important river port since the start of the 20th century, Wuhan’s hospitality industry is well developed with breweries and night-clubs enlivening the banks of the Yangtze river.
The previous editions of the Open Days got together more than 400 professionals (importers, distributors, foodservice professionals, sommeliers, and media specialists) and more than 100 final consumers. Other related activities like Spanish ham and cheese tasting took place.
The Economic & Commercial Office of Spain and ICEX, as the official trade promotion body of the Spanish Government in China, have more than 20 years’ experience organizing promotional events in this country, developing relations between Spanish companies and Chinese importers and distributors, as well as promoting the image of quality and excellence of Foods and Wines from Spain.
