32 International Professionals will be participating in the Salón Gourmets Hosted Buyers Program

The Salón Gourmets trade fair will be held in Madrid from April 13^rd to the 16^th. It’s the number one event of its kind in Europe and one of the most renowned globally welcoming 2,100 exhibitors, more than 1,000 activities and 55,000 products from all over the world, including 2,142 new products. The fair will be extended across 6 pavilions and stands out for its commercial focus, becoming the most visited meeting point for national and international professionals of the gastronomic field, including restaurants, hotels, distributors, catering services and specialized stores.

As part of this year’s event, 32 international buyers have been invited by Foods and Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España, to participate in a special program. The visitors hold positions such as C.E.O., managers, sales people, purchasing managers... They come from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Morocco, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Serbia, Denmark, Czech Republic, Greece, Ireland, the UK, , Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Qatar and Turkey.

All of them have a customized meeting agenda according to their business interests. In this way, they will be able to get first-hand knowledge of what the Spanish sector has to offer. In addition, on Tuesday 14, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., visits in English to the cheese, oil and wine tunnels are scheduled exclusively for them. These are some of the most interesting activities that can be experienced at the fair.

Salón Gourmets, which celebrated in 2026 its 39th edition, will also have other thematic areas such as children's workshops, the Organic Exhibition Area, the Innovation Area…
