Spain’s Great Match - Washington DC 2024

Foods and Wines from Spain and Alimentos de España are excited to announce the return of the Spain’s Great Match to Washington, D.C. coinciding with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of this program. The event will take place on May 7 from 12:30 to 16:30.

Join us to celebrate Spanish rich gastronomic heritage, wines and spirits! Immerse yourself in an engaging and dynamic afternoon dedicated to Spanish wine with culinary seminars, featuring regional spotlights and exciting food-and-wine pairing challenges. The program is led by a team of Master Sommeliers and culinary experts.

Wine Tastings and Culinary Workshop

Embark on a delightful journey, where participants can indulge in the exploration of 150+ new vintages from the country's foremost wineries. Experience exclusive producer tastings featuring premium mono-varietals and blends, complemented by an array of cheeses, cured meats from Spain and more.

This year, Foods and Wines from Spain is thrilled to announce the addition of DISCOVERY ZONE to the event´s activities.

This program is designed to create a meeting place, offering the appropriate framework for Spanish exhibitors that are looking to introduce their products or would like to expand their distribution in this market to showcase their products and establish contacts with importers/distributors.

You will find in the DISCOVERY ZONE wines from La Mancha DO, Cebreros DO, Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla IGP, Jumilla DO, Plà de Bagés DO, Terra Alta DO and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) from Castellón (Valencia) and Jaén (Andalusia)

The event will be publicized through personalized invitations addressed exclusively to the professional sector.
