As part of the softlanding program participants will spend three days visiting the most important Dutch foodtech regions and cities. With every stop, they meet with incumbents in the Dutch foodtech ecosystem. This 'roadshow' will create familiarity with the Dutch foodtech ecosystem, provides pitching and network opportunities, and give participants first-hand insights into the Dutch (business) culture - all important factors when scaling to the Netherlands.
Utrecht is the fourth largest city can be considered as the very center of mainland Netherlands. Next to functioning as the heart of Holland, two relevant Dutch foodtech hubs are located in Utrecht, which will be visited by the participants of the program.
Danone Nutricia research center builds bridges between science and food. Their research and innovation center in Utrecht spans the world of both early life nutrition and medical nutrition; employing over 600 people, it is a global hub dedicated not only to the innovation of new products, but also the ongoing improvement of their existing range. The Utrecht R&I center delivers evidence-based specialized nutrition to infants, pregnant women, patients, and the elderly.
