The Historical Garnachas Project, presented by Peter McCombie MW - in association with D.O. Campo de Borja

Campo de Borja is well known for its superb Garnacha wines, the standout varietal for the region. This masterclass will focus on current trends and the D.O.’s Historical Garnachas Project. With over two thirds of vines aged between 30 and 50 years, and the oldest plantings dating back to the 1890’s, this new initiative aims to study and protect an important historical heritage while promoting the special wines produced from old vine Garnacha.

Peter McCombie will present a tutored tasting of Garnachas planted at different vineyard altitudes, from Ribera del Ebro (300m) to Somontano del Moncayo (900m).
