CANESS joins Eat Spain Drink Spain Australia 2026 with a Spanish-inspired dining experience that brings together Spanish flavours, quality ingredients and the venue’s distinctive Middle Eastern touches. Throughout the campaign, guests can enjoy Spanish wines alongside dishes featuring ingredients such as Manchego, Cantabrian anchovies, Piquillo peppers, Pimentón de la Vera, Piparra peppers, Jamón Ibérico and Sherry Vinegar from Jerez. The menu will also feature a mini chorizo made to a traditional Spanish family recipe with Spanish pimentón from Extremadura, while a jamón croquette will be available as part of the venue’s set menu during the campaign period.
Travel through Spain one glass at a time with CANESS’ Spanish Wine Series, created for Eat Spain Drink Spain Australia 2026. Available by the glass for lunch and dinner from 4 September to 4 October, the series invites guests to discover four Spanish regions, four grape varieties and four very different expressions of Spanish winemaking — from generous Grenache and textured orange wine to elegant Mencía and crisp coastal Albariño. Served as CANESS’ Spanish Wine of the Week, each wine offers a glimpse into how climate, altitude, soil and tradition shape its character, flavour and sense of place. Wines are subject to availability and specific bottles may vary.
There’s no rush in picoteo. This much-loved Spanish dining tradition is all about grazing slowly, sharing generously and letting lunch unfold over good food and conversation. Created for Eat Spain Drink Spain Australia 2026, CANESS’ $60 per person Picoteo Sundays experience brings the spirit of Spanish grazing to Sunday lunch, with Spanish-inspired plates shaped by Middle Eastern touches and quality Spanish ingredients at the centre. Guests can expect dishes such as kipfler crisps with Manchego, salt cod brandade, boquerones, mini chorizo, fried empanadas and a Serious Sangria to begin. Available on Sunday 6, 13, 20 and 27 September, and Sunday 4 October, from 12–4pm.
