During Eat Spain, Drink Spain, La Charcutería at Hay St invites guests to join a relaxed celebration of Spanish flavours in the heart of Haymarket.
Inspired by the traditional tapas bars and neighbourhood bodegas found across Spain, La Charcutería offers an authentic and welcoming setting where good food, wine, and company come together effortlessly. Hidden within Paddy’s Market, it brings a genuine taste of Spain to Sydney, from Barcelona to Madrid and beyond.
For the campaign, guests can enjoy a specially curated $75 set menu with drinks pairing, designed to showcase the simplicity and quality of Spanish cuisine. The experience begins with mixed olives and an Ibérico charcuterie board, followed by a selection of classic tapas including anchovies with boquerones, patatas bravas, and pickled baby octopus with romesco. To finish, a traditional Basque cheesecake offers a sweet taste of the north.
The menu is complemented by a selection of Spanish drinks, including Estrella Damm or Lonia Cava, alongside a curated range of wines such as Conde Valdemar Rioja Blanco, Valdemoreda Tempranillo, and Rosé de Casta by Familia Torres, as well as Valdespino Amontillado Sherry from Jerez. Together, they reflect La Charcutería’s commitment to authentic Spanish produce and regional flavours.
