From September 4th to October 4th, to celebrate Eat Spain, Drink Spain, subterranean restaurant and wine bar, Letra House, will be highlighting the Spanish producers and ingredients showcased in their seasonal, Spanish-leaning menu. You can expect to find Manchego custard-filled donuts with Olasagasti Cantabrian anchovies; a 'socarrat' inspired dish with vongole, mussels, firefly squid and Barbadillo vingegar-spiked sauce; Bonilla La Vista patatas fritas with La Catedral de Navarra piquillo peppers and jamón serrano or La Curiosa mussels escabeche; and our fish of the day with Perello's Gordal olives and burnt leek.
The team also offers a Menu del Dia, which is curated from the main menu, along with a few specials of the day. Guests can opt for a Spanish wine and drink pairing, alongside the Menu del Dia, only available for the month. Guests can book ahead or walk-in.
On September 22nd, Letra House will host a one-night-only 'El Camino' event, taking guests on a culinary journey throughout Spain. The set menu (details announced in August), will highlight iconic plates from different regions of the country like Galicia, Andalusia and Catalunya, with special mention of the Spanish producers referenced on the menu.
There will of course be an optional Spanish wine and drinks pairing available to order, too.
This one night only event must be booked ahead.
