What's on

Foods from Spain and the Good Food Foundation have partnered to organize a virtual trade show, The Virtual Mercantile, where 12 Spanish artisans will introduce their products to professionals in the cheese and specialty food industries.

Registered American retailers will each receive a kit of product samples from the producers ahead of the event and will have a chance to learn about the companies and participate in a live guided tasting of the products.  Each producer will begin his session with an introduction, do a 5 - 7 minute presentation, and end with Q&A. The event will consist of two virtual sessions: “Cheese of Spain” (July 8th) and “The Spanish Pantry” (July 15th).

This is a unique opportunity in these times of social distancing, to conduct business with a new format that assures retailer interest

Americans are now more than ever willing to experiment in the kitchen and spend more for groceries. In this context, The Virtual Mercantile for Foods from Spain offers a great opportunity for Spanish producers to showcase their products and for US retailers to learn about delicious ingredients they can add to their portfolios.

The “Cheese of Spain” session will feature:

●    Lácteos Martínez
●    Quesos del Casar
●    Quesos Corcuera
●    Lácteos Anzuxao
●    Lácteo Industrial Menorquina

“The Spanish Pantry” session will feature:

●    Oro del Desierto
●    Marqués de Valdueza
●    Casas de Hualdo
●    Bahía de la Concha
●    Aigua de Sant Aniol
